Forged throwing tomahawk
Hand forged tomahawk. Based loosely on some examples of historical frontier and fur trade axes. The blade is forged from a leaf spring off a car. The primary use of these are to throw because of this I keep the steel not as hard as other axes. This is for safety of the thrower and the Tomahawk itself. Cutting edge length approximately 3.25-3.5 inches. Weight of the head is approximately one pound. Making it an excellent weight for throwing. The axe is seated using a friction fit on a hand made 16 inch hickory haft. Hawks can be personalized by stamping initials into the blade (up to four letters) at no extra charge. Thank you for looking!
